Day 7: Last day skiing Corvara, Italy – some new snow and sun

By on February 9, 2007 in Italy

Last day skiing Corvara and last night it snowed – it started early in the evening and it was still snowing when we came back from the bar. It was not a huge fall, around 4 – 6 inches (10 – 15 cm). However, in the morning, it was clear blue skies and sunshine. And this made for an interesting last day of skiing around Corvara.

Again, the slopes were in excellent condition. They did become bumpy as the day went on, but it was still good skiing. I spent the day skiing around the mountain, taking in the views and having fun. Beautiful day, and a great day for taking pictures. We also had a very nice valley fog/cloud weather.

And so my skiing for this trip finished. Very sad. It has been a great trip, we have had superb weather (6 days of sun), and great skiing conditions.
