Getting the free bus in Park City, Utah

By on February 16, 2015 in General, USA

Park City runs a free bus service around town and to the ski areas.

The bus system works great and we had no issues finding a stop near our hotel (Yarrow) in to town. For Main Street (centre of town) you just stay on to the bus station, which is located on a road parellel to Main and about halfway down.

The service seems very popular with locals and visitors and carried over 2 million passengers last year, and it seems to run frequently and on time.

You do have to be a bit careful as there are a number of routes around town and so you need to check which bus you need. The time tables are pretty good and give clear details on routes.

One point to note is it is a ‘request stop’ service so you will need to know when to pull the cord.
