Back at the RH Hotel, Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia

By on March 13, 2015 in General, Malaysia

Back at the RH Hotel in Sibu, which is where I stayed last year…. The place hasn’t changed.

Checkin was painfully slow, and the WiFi still doesn’t work in the rooms.

One weird thing. I think I am in the same room as on my last visit. Bit freaky….

Great sign in the lobby – you know you are in Malaysia when Durian (the King of Fruits; never tried it – smells awful, and supposedly tastes just as bad), Mangosteen (the Queen of Fruits; I like these, but the juice of the skin does tend to stain things purple), and Dragon Fruits (these have no taste; band in the hotel because the juice of the red Dragon fruit stains) are banned in the hotel.

I’ll be interested to see what breakfast is like in the morning as the RH has the dubious honour of serving the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had in Malaysia.
