An evening stroll in downtown Yangon (Rangoon), Myanmar (Burma)

By on March 31, 2015 in Myanmar/Burma

One thing I really like doing is strolling around a new town in the evening taking photos, and Yangon (Rangoon), Myanmar (Burma) didn’t disappoint. There was a lot going on downtown on the Yangon streets.

There is something about the above photo that grabs me. I really like how the light works, and there is something about the look on the woman’s face and the actions of the man.  I watched the scene unfold for some time before I grabbed the shot.

A fun place to explore. Lots of food and market stalls around the place. Lots of photo opportunities.
