Hutan Bandar, Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia – part 3 of 4

By on May 25, 2015 in Malaysia

Hutan Bandar, Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia is rather odd. It is clear that a lot of money has been spent setting up the place, and some areas seem to be very well established as judged by the maturity of the trees and plants, however, other areas seem new, and already rather run down. It looks like that money is not being spent on maintenance…

The photo below shows a viewing tower I came across. It appeared to still be open… but was lacking handrails at the bottom.

And then it got worse halfway up…

And the higher I got… This was decidedly unsafe!

At the top there was a lot of debris – bat droppings and discarded bat food.

However, the view from the top was pretty good.

Later I came across another viewing tower, which did appear to be in a better state of repair, but was mysteriously closed!
