Bold Park Reserve, Perth, Australia

By on August 29, 2015 in Australia

Well, this was a pleasant surprise – Bold Park Reserve, Perth.

Reabold Hill is the highest natural point on the Swan Coastal plane and was named in 1917 after Francis Rea who was a former Mayor of Perth, and William Bold, the longest serving Town Clerk for the city. And it does give great views out across Perth. It is also worth a visit as you get to see a number of wild Australian plants, birds and wildlife on the walks around the reserve.
