My base for my time in Cambodia was the Château d'Angkor La Residence, Oum Chhay Street Mondul II Village, Svay Dangkum, Siem Reap 17259 Cambodia.

The Château d'Angkor La Residence was a rather odd place. I was expecting a hotel. Instead, I stayed in something that felt like it had been converted from apartments. My room was huge. And in it, I had a lounge area, a large dining table, a kitchen, a washing machine, and a separate bedroom and bathroom. The room was fantastic, but it did feel like I was staying in someone’s apartment.

The Wi-Fi in the hotel was a bit flakey. And they served a superb breakfast.

The hotel was ideally located for exploring Siem Reap, and it was a short walk to the local shops and restaurants.
