Day 4: The leg and the power of anti-inflammatories

By on January 1, 2006 in France

Wow!  The drugs work! The anti-inflammatories are amazing.

The large doses of paracetamol, the anti-inflammatories, and the occasional soak in a hot bath, are doing the job as the leg started to feel better within a couple of days.  I noticed when I went to bed last night that I could put some weight on it, however, in the morning it was unable to support weight, but as the day progressed the leg got better and better.

This evening I went to La Chavanne for dinner (it is close to the chalet and at about my limit on crutches).  I had a very nice salad starter and steak for the main course.
