Wanderings, travel, photographs and skiing…

When is a WiFi not a WiFi network?

By on January 25, 2010 in USA

The answer:  When you are using the one at Boston Airport WiFi.

At Boston Logan Airport they have a supposedly free WiFi network.  However, it is so crippled and throttles back on activity with such aggression that it is useless….  Why bother installing something that doesn’t work?

So, if you are skiing in New England and you are hoping to post your ski photos online before flying out, forget it….

Update: If you have the above problem try changing location.  Looks like I was sitting next to a faulty WiFi base-station.
