Wanderings, travel, photographs and skiing…

Dinner at Wasatch Brew Pub, Park City, Utah, and the cold food

By on February 18, 2015 in USA

After a hard day of skiing Deer Valley, we decided to go to the Wasatch Brew Pub for dinner.

For my evening meal, I went for the Evolution Ale and Shepard’s pie.

The Brew Pub really is a brew pub as you can sit at the bar and look into the brewery (photo below).

Good Brew Pub – shame about the food

Worryingly when the food arrived it wasn’t hot, it was warm with some decidedly chilly spots.

Bad Food - Wasatch Brew Pub

An undercooked (cold) Shepard’s Pis

A big clue to how ‘cool’ it was, and as can be seen in the above photo, that is, the topping of melted cheese wasn’t melted.

I complained, and the food was taken away and reheated in a microwave, which resulted in a hot meal that was dried out! (My friend’s pasta dish also had to go back to be reheated).

So – the Wasatch Brew Pub is a nice pub, that serves good beer, it’s a shame about the food…

We won’t be back to the Wasatch Brew Pub. (Well, maybe for a beer, but certainly not the food.)
