Hong Kong Harbour – day and night

By on September 4, 2015 in Hong Kong

After the disappointment of the Temple Street Night Market 廟街夜市場 I decided to walk down to Hong Kong Harbour to catch the light show.

I had spent some time around the harbour during the day…

And I found it to be stunning. However, by night  it becomes magical, and the light show was surprisingly good with laser lights and special effects across the buildings.

There were a lot of people down on the waterfront to watch the show.

You have to admit the harbour does loom magnificent.

The official name, as far as I could tell, for the nightly event is the ‘Symphony of lights at the waterfront’. And it was certainly worth a look, if only to see all the buildings lit up.
