Hong Kong — Hong Kong Harbour — day and night

Stunning views across Hong Kong Harbour

September 2015

After the disappointment of the Temple Street Night Market 廟街夜市場, I decided to walk down to Hong Kong Harbour to catch the light show.

I had spent some time around the harbour during the day.

And I found it to be stunning.

However, by night it becomes magical, and the light show was surprisingly good, with laser lights and special effects across the buildings.

There were many people down on the waterfront to watch the show.

And you have to admit the harbour does look magnificent.

As far as I could tell, the official name for the nightly event is the 'Symphony of lights at the waterfront’. And it was worth a look, if only to see all the buildings lit up.
