Laos — Dinner at the BBQ by the Old Bridge, Luang Prabang (ຫລວງພະບາງ/ຫຼວງພະບາງ), Laos
Time for some local BBQ
September 2015
I read somewhere online that the BBQ place next to the Old Bridge in Luang Prabang (ຫລວງພະບາງ/ຫຼວງພະບາງ), Laos, did a fantastic BBQ duck, so I thought I would try it out.
They had an English menu, so I was able to order BBQ duck with some spring rolls and a large beer.

The duck was served cold and was very, very tasty. The Spring rolls were overcooked and a bit greasy.
While I was there, a few locals drifted in to eat, which is always a good sign.
Not the best food of the trip, but it was OK.
A significant downside of the meal was I had to negotiate the Old Bridge in the dark to get back to my hotel — Le Bel Air Resort — so a tricky walk back.
