Time to move on to my last country of the trip

Time to leave Laos and move on to my last country of the trip — Thailand.

My hope for Bangkok, Thailand, is decent connectivity.

In Laos, the Wi-Fi and mobile phone network was very slow, and it wasn’t only in the hotel; it was everywhere, bars, cafés, and restaurants. Even the 3G was slow. In all cases, the download speed was not the problem; it was the upload.

So, why Bangkok? Well, friends had told me a lot about the place and said I should visit; plus, it was on my way from Laos back to Malaysia (sort of).
