Time for an iced coffee

September 2015

After I was asked to leave the Royal Palace Museum, I needed coffee.

So, I headed down to Saffron Café near the Mekong River.

I got my coffee.

And instead of sitting inside looking at the road.

I headed down to the café's outside area overlooking the Mekong River.

I enjoyed my coffee sitting there looking at the river.

I later came back for an iced latte.

The Saffron Café was a typical example of the European-type cafés I found in Luang Prabang (ຫລວງພະບາງ/ຫຼວງພະບາງ). It served excellent coffee.
